Phil Danz and Queen Vi were the winners of a doubles match at Del Norte on the 11th, as well as, a match against Norm Nivens and Peter Davalos at Rollingwood on the 14th. It has been very quiet on the courts lately with a certain person not playing, who may be in Peru right now. It makes it a little easier to concentrate on our game.

One long set was played, Vi Craig and Phil Danz (they almost always win) against Peter Davalos and Darrell Torgerson and barely lost in a tiebreaker (1/12 hours) 7-6. The second set was attempted but was scratched due to time constraints.
Two sets were played: 1st set Phil Danz/John Moulds won against Peter Davalos/Bob Curran 7 to 5 games. 2nd set Phil Danz/Bob Curran beat Peter Davalos/John Moulds in tie breaker 7 -6.
We will need Queen Vi to schedule classes for us to learn how to blog. Rodolfo will have to serve us drinks. Peter will have to tell us stories. Titantium Man will have to threaten us with jail time. Dual Rods will have to start up his lessons again. Bottom line, we need to be trained on how to do this.
I have invited many of you to post on the OFTA blog. If you become aware of someone who has not been invited please let me know. I know there are some new members that I don't have email addresses for.
